Each of us lives a different story
With the same beginning and end.
We all start from a womb,
Go through different narratives
Set lives on separate rhythms
Choose our own chronology
Focus on unintelligible themes,
Said either monotonously
Or variously adventurous,
Live them in different skins and fortune,
All of it
Only to end in a tomb
With an epitaph, you'll never read.
About the author
Pratheeksha Susan Jacob
Pratheeksha is a writer who signs herself as Esperanza, her name in Spanish, which means hope. Her writings are a cup of beauty poured onto a bowl of love, with a pinch of loss and vanity added to taste and then baked in gratitude at a degree of grace and one's spiritual self.
